{"id":20,"date":"2019-11-20T10:49:20","date_gmt":"2019-11-20T09:49:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nbc-journal.org\/?page_id=20"},"modified":"2025-04-07T13:43:31","modified_gmt":"2025-04-07T11:43:31","slug":"review-process","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nbc-journal.org\/?page_id=20","title":{"rendered":"Review process"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Nova Biotechnologica et Chimica &nbsp;would like to thank all the reviewers who gifted their time and expertise, and expresses a genuine gratitude for their contributions and support in 2020.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Paper Review Process in Nova Biotechnologica et Chimica<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All articles are peer-reviewed by at least two\nqualified, independed experts in the\nfield, and by the Editorial Board members.\nReviewers are aware of the identity of the authors, but authors are unaware of\nthe identity of reviewers. The review process takes up to 4-6 weeks, and ends\nup with a review report and decision (acceptance, required revision or\nrejection) that will be delivered to corresponding author. Editors latter\ncommunicate with authors, as required, and indicate the necessary amendments to\nimprove the quality of the paper. Editors believe that authors will find the\nreviewers&#8216; comments constructive, helpful and will consider using them to\nrevise their work. The revised papers are sent to the reviewers for evaluation\nagain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The manuscripts are accepted for publication by the\nEditor in Chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Papers considered by the Editor in Chief as clearly\nbelow the standards of the journal, out of the journal\u00b4s scope or not in the\nrequired NBC form, are rejected without review. Authors who receive rejection\nletters should be aware that editorial boards are highly selective in their\ndecision process to maintain the high editorial quality and citation rate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Review process follows the Ethical Guidlines for Nova Biotechnologica <em>et<\/em> Chimica available in Supplementary Materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructions for authors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These instructions apply\nto manuscripts submitted for publication in the Nova Biotechnologica et\nChimica. It is important that authors follow the manuscript instructions\ncarefully. The text, tables and figures have to be in one document. The\nInstructions are available in Supplementary Materials, &nbsp;Please, download and read them before\nsubmitting your work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submitting a manuscript to Nova Biotechnologica et Chimica<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All documents should be in Microsoft Word format (any other electronic version will be discarded without notice).
